Presenter

Abstract

Learn how University IT at Stanford University is taking steps to improve the design and management of its service catalog and user documentation.

Challenge

University IT currently offers over 80 unique services in its service catalog and over 1000 pages of user documentation. Many of the services have technical names like Bit9 or SWDE that you would not expect users to know. How do we organize the services? What are effective ways to present user documentation? How do we maintain control and consistency with different content producers?
